About the Event
Stories are funny little things. They do really strange things to us as we work with. We all know the way they change how we think. And how we feel of course. But they also can change the way we move. The way we are. The same goes for the other direction: our movements, our emotions, and our thoughts naturally shape how we tell a story. In this workshop we will explore the overlay between ourselves and our stories in three parts:
story MIND
story BODY
story HEART
If you haven’t figured out already, this will not be your typical workshop! For one, we will be meeting in the park Wednesdays after work, sitting on a special blanket that has hosted many, many storytelling sessions. We will be talking, moving, dancing, laughing, and perhaps even crying. We will experiment with shapes, stones, voices, and silence. We will learn a lot…
