Queer as Folk - Storytelling & Sign-making

In this two-part evening, we are going to spend our time spreading our message. First through a cosy storytelling session centring queer storytellers and musicians as they share with us tales of adventure, discovery, and whatever else moves their souls. After the stories and music have finished, we will break out the cardboard and art supplies to prepare to share our messages at the Pride Walk the next day.

Connor will be joined in hosting this evening by DISC regular, Will o' the Whisperer: a Scottish/Dutch storyteller who is inspired by the weirdness of the world around them and the folklore of their Scottish upbringing. They give voice to stories that will make you smile and look differently at the people around you. They champion solidarity and political change and hope to build towards a world where everyone has a space to not fit in.
