DISC Online Storytelling Cafe - 'Summertime'

Come sit with us in our Storytelling Cafe lounge and meet some of our best Storytellers from all across the world!  To join on Zoom, log in HERE (in case you log in via your own zoom account, you might be needing this: Meeting ID: 929 1200 5031 & Password: 014295 )

Each Summer month (July, August, September):

- on the 2nd Saturday we will have a live beach cafe + Zoom live stream

- on the 4th Saturday we will have our regular Zoom Cafe

You see, we have grown to LOVE our international audiences joining our Zoom Cafe's and we would miss them way to much to not stay online durimg the Summer. 

One of the tellers will be Beverly Casebow from Edinburgh (Love it!) brought to our attention by our dear friend & Story teacher Sally Kawamura. Beverly loves to share traditional folk and fairy tales from Scotland, the British Isles and Northern / Eastern Europe, particularly those stories which connect us with landscape and the natural environment – woodlands and forests, snowy mountains, remote islands, the sea and coastline.

Also our own DISC founding director Michael Driebeek van der Ven throws in a story or two he once told at a lovely lady's Tea Party who turned 80 and who had 2 dear memories: 1) her beloved spouse who had passed away, 2) the last journey they made together travelling the African continent. It is a story still dear to Michael and he would love to share it with you too.
