Children's Book Feast/Kinderboekenfestijn

Every year, Children's Book Week is celebrated all over The Netherlands. Writers, Storytellers, Actors & Illustrators get together to bring as many stories to the children as possible! One of these great activities is the Children's Book Feast (Kinderboekenfestijn) at the Central Library of The Hague.

On the 2nd floor of the library, they have an enormous Children's Book section, filled with rows and rows and rows of children's books. It is a true feast to be there and wander around. Children can grab a book from the shelves and find themselves a calm spot to read. It is absolutely worth a visit!

During the Children's Book Feast there are many fun activities to participate in; you can hear famous book writers tell about their process, watch illustrators create their beautiful drawings, listen to storytellers tell many known and unknown stories; there is even a book market to stack up on your reading! 

And ofcourse our own DISC Storyteller Francine de Graaf, who will tell some wonderful stories to the children between 13h and 15h on a little stage inbetween thousants of children's books.
