Cafe on the Beach (& Online!)

Woop, woop... we can't wait to see you all on the beach!!!!

One of our tellers this time will be the wonderful Leonie van der Plas. For many years Leonie has travelled, exploring languages, cultures and how our surroundings make us to who we are.

"As a storyteller I mostly tell stories that have been around for many generations. Old folk tales and myths can be mesmerizing and weirdly exciting and beautiful and they are condensed with the experiences of people who have gone before us. Those stories have a capacity to tell us again and again what we tend to forget. About who we are, what lives in us, what sparks us and about our place in the world. And most of all it is just lovely to sit down, make ourselves comfortable and share stories!"

Leonie will be accompanied by 2  of our dear Storytelling friends: the wonderful Irina Koriazova (who is just overall exciting and always tells a quirky tale) and Lot Will O’ the Whisperer (who is magical in creating their own new folktales and might even play some of their music...).

Each Summer month (July, August, September):

- on the 2nd Saturday we will have a live beach cafe + Zoom live stream

- on the 4th Saturday we will have our regular Zoom Cafe

You see, we have grown to LOVE our international audiences joining our Zoom Cafe's and we would miss them way to much to not stay online durimg the Summer.

Therefore each Cafe on the Beach will be with a live audience of 15 friends and a live stream via Zoom. So, wherever you are... YOU CAN JOIN IN ON THE BEACH!!!!
