A Day with Rumi

A 5h workshop guided by the poetry and stories of Jelaluddin Rumi with Grandmaster of Storytelling Ashley Ramsden.

Rumi's words plant seeds~ seeds of love. How can we prepare ourselves so that they can be spoken wholeheartedly, be received and grow? It takes work to bring ourselves into the place of the heart and to stay there, even in challenging times it is possible for these practices to be shared, felt and cultivated.

If you'd like to join us for this five-hour adventure choose a Rumi poem that you love, not more than 10 lines, attempt to learn it by heart or simply bring it with you.

This year will also feature a little bonus excursion into the world of Hodja Nasruddin the Holy Fool who according to some traditions lived at the same time as Rumi and whose stories are also much beloved by the Sufis and others as great sources of wisdom, humour and teaching.

Every year, Ashley comes to DISC in The Netherlands to bring us some much needed beauty and inspiration by Rumi! We would love it for you to join us...
