About the Event

During the Second World War, Hitler ordered to create ‘The Atlantic Wall’ - a series of fortifications along the coastline from France to Norway - to protect the bigger German Reich from foreign invasions. (after they themselves invaded the countries along that same coastline… uhhh excuse me?!?)

Anyways, many of these fortifications (bunkers) are now remodelled into museums and are quite exciting to visit. Once a year, they all open up together on Bunker Day and audiences get to visit them and hear all the fascinating, intriguing or devastating stories the walls of concrete carry.

We are excited to be invited by the Association of Dutch Bunker Museums to give 2 special Storytelling Craft training sessions to their museum staff, in preparation of Bunker Day 2026 on May 30.

The first session will be on Saturday April 11th and will be held in Egmond aan Zee at the Maritime Centre.
